Our client, a dynamic and rapidly growing leader in civil infrastructure, is seeking a General Superintendent to oversee complex underground utilities and earthworks projects. As a pivotal player in the field, you will lead by example-coaching teams, optimizing resources, and ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, on budget, and to the highest quality standards. What You'll Be DoingLead, coach, and mentor Foremen on daily planning, safety, productivity, and quality.
Drive compliance with all health and safety programs and protocols.
Troubleshoot design challenges alongside Project Managers and Coordinators, proposing innovative and practical solutions.
Conduct and participate in key project meetings to support alignment and progress tracking.
Analyze project cost reports with the PM team, proactively addressing variances.
Support recruitment, hiring, and performance evaluations of field staff.
Manage project site emergencies, ensuring minimal disruption and maximum safety.
Oversee scheduling, equipment coordination, and resource allocation.
Conduct quality reviews, promote accident-free work plans, and ensure zero re-work.
Champion workforce communication, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Minimum 7 years' experience in a civil superintendent role with a focus on utilities and earthworks.
Proven leadership in managing multi-crew operations on complex job sites.
Expert understanding of construction safety regulations and best practices.
Skilled in scheduling, planning, and resource management.
Strong communication, negotiation, and conflict resolution abilities.
Fluent in Microsoft Office Suite and PDF tools such as Adobe or Bluebeam.
Valid Driver's License and ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends as required.
Self-driven, adaptable, and highly organized with a problem-solving mindset.

Monday to Friday
Day shift with availability for night shifts and weekends as required
