Location: Toronto, Ontario, Canada (in office 2 days/week, travel from time to time to US)

The Role:
EMN is seeking a process-driven Head, Partnerships to manage key relationships with our surgeon customer base (otherwise known as channel partners) and strategic partners and develop new sales & marketing partnerships. Reporting to the CCO, you will be responsible for maximizing the value of our current partnerships, identifying and launching new growth opportunities, and driving partner performance through data, insights, and operational excellence. You will play a critical role in shaping the future of how we engage, grow, and support our partner ecosystem by growing a high-performance team, owning the channel success plan and developing relationships with new products or industry partners.

You have a proven track record of successfully growing and managing customer relationships as well as developing new ones. You know how to hire, empower and develop and high-performance team. You are an active listener who can identify customer pain points and communicate potential solutions clearly that meet their needs. You proactively develop relationships and identify growth opportunities with your customers versus wait for them to call you with issues. You can manage multiple projects at once and delegate tasks and projects with clear deliverables and expectations
Key Responsibilities:
- Partnership Management & Retention
- Drive growth within our channel partners through vertical and horizontal expansion
- Develop a team to execute against your channel success plan
- Retain high percentage of channel partners year over year
- Own key partnerships with select surgeon accounts and strategic partners
- Business Development & Product Expansion
- Identify and lead initiatives to source and integrate existing products that enhance our value proposition to partners into our channel success plan
- Collaborate with Product, Sales, and Marketing to bring new offerings to market that align with partner needs.
- Team Leadership & Development
- Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing team of Account Managers focused on channel partner success.
- Establish clear goals, KPIs, and development plans for team members to drive accountability and professional growth.
- Process, Tools & Playbooks
- Create a scalable CRM datastructure, and conduct case studies with channel partners to uncover actionable insights that drive mutual growth.
- Create and implement standardized processes and playbooks to replicate success of high performance channel partners across larger customer base.
- Partner with Marketing to develop collateral and communication strategies for new performance initiatives and product rollouts.
- Sales Enablement & Upsell Strategy
- Design and execute strategies to upsell new products and services within the existing channel partner base.
- Work with Sales leadership to refine the partner initiation process to set partnerships up for earlier success and high performance
Your Skills and Experience:
- Proven track record of managing and growing strategic partnerships and building high-performing teams in the medical device or pharmaceutical industry.
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills; comfortable using data to guide decisions.
- Exceptional communication, stakeholder management, and executive presence.
- Experience developing scalable processes, sales enablement materials, and performance measurement tools.
- Previous experience working in a start-up is highly beneficial
Your Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in partnerships, business development, or client success, with 2+ years in a leadership role
- A degree in Business, Marketing, Communications or Engineering
- Basic Microsoft Office Skills (Excel, PPT, Word)
- Experience working with a CRM
