days/week, travel required)

The Role:
As a key member of
our sales team, you are motivated to
grow
EMN's
business by
adding new accounts, surgeon
customers, and patient end-users. Reporting to the Regional Sales Manager, you will
be responsible for learning our
product
offering, value proposition, and sales tools; generating new leads & opportunities; building relationships;
managing the sales process; closing new sales; providing exceptional customer service;
obtaining customer
feedback;
and
identifying
opportunities
to
increase the
utilization of EMNs products within existing accounts.
Additionally, you will
support
strategic
sales initiatives
and
ad hoc projects
as required.

Key Responsibilities:


  • Identify opportunities
    and drive sales in orthopedic surgical practices
    .
  • Execute sales strategies that will maintain the existing base of business and support the close of
    new business.
  • Probe, develop and
    confirm receipt of
    all related product sales inquiries/leads with
    prospective & existing customers.
  • Collaborate with internal sales and communications colleagues to achieve target sales goals.
  • Originate, negotiate, close, and manage deals.
  • Effectively utilize sales management tools to identify and address trends in the existing base of business, create call
    strategies and implement business plans.
  • Effectively utilize technology tools to support lead generation, pipeline reporting, and more.
  • Create and deliver presentations to customers.
  • Conduct post-sales activities, including product implementation, education, in-service support
    and feedback.
  • Build strong customer relationships that support both company and customer initiatives.
  • Work to develop a detailed understanding of competitive products and their applications.
  • Communicate nutrition
    and scientific concepts to orthopedic surgeons, their healthcare teams, and patients.
  • Liaise with medical device partners including large multinationals, independent distributors, and new innovative
    companies.

Your Skills and Experience:

  • Superior
    communication & interpersonal
    skills, and ability to collaborate
    effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast
    -paced and dynamic work environment
    that is common in start-ups.
  • Nimble in your thinking with the ability to pivot and change gears according to business needs.
  • Ability to navigate challenges and handle objections in the field
  • Ability to work independently or in a team, with high self
    -motivation and attention to detail.
  • Skilled in business communications, sales presentations, and the ability to understand and articulate the value of
    EMNs
    products in both clinical and economic terms
  • Ability to use different methods as a means of gaining access.

Your Qualifications:

  • Must have: 1-3
    years of sales experience in a B2B, pharmaceutical, medical device or medical technology industry
  • Must have: an undergraduate degree in business, nutrition, kinesiology, or science.
  • Nice-to-have: previous experience
    in orthopedics
    or orthopedic sales
    is an asset but not required.
  • Nice-to-have: previous experience with technology tools including CRM
  • May ask for proof of previous work performed.
