Supporting FAI cell operation by performing different activities such as marking/measuring the FAI parts, fabricating jigs, and fixtures for trimming, drilling, and assembly, and scribing the new tools required for operations.

• Laminating of jigs as required for grinding, trimming and assembly process.
• Repairing jigs and fixture as required for producing parts to the print.
• Reading blueprints and manually marking of the parts as per blueprint.
• Use hand tools such diamond cutter, belt sanders, die grinders, pistol grip grinders, heat guns and some custom-made tools.
• Minor or major repairs of special tools
• Reads blueprints, drawings, and related tolerances for dimensional analysis of the parts.
• Ability to gelcoat and laminate.
• Patches defects using hand mix putty and hardener.
• Performs hand mixing gelcoat and catalyst and spraying.
• Rework non-conforming production parts.

• Grade 12
• Knowledge of blueprints
• Hand tools (pneumatic, electric, manual)
• Good Math skills such as fractions and unit conversion
• Good verbal and written communication
• Able to work independently and with a team with minimum supervision.
• Demonstrated ability on initiative and sound judgment.
• Ability to organize and prioritize workload.
• Ability to train others when required.
• Ability to read blueprint.
• Good knowledge of using measuring such as Calipers, micrometer and height gauges etc.
• Traveling may be required between Carfair, MCI and NFI if required
