Position: Managing Director, Media Investments

About the Role

Our client is seeking a dynamic Managing Director, Media Investments to lead all aspects of our investment strategy across media acquisitions and media-for-equity transactions. You will shape our deal pipeline, spearhead negotiations, and drive long-term value creation across our portfolio. This role is ideal for a seasoned dealmaker with a sharp investment lens and a deep understanding of the evolving media landscape.

What You Will Do

• Develop and lead the Media Investments roadmap, with a focus on strategic acquisitions and media-for-equity partnerships
• Source and evaluate high-growth media and consumer-facing companies for potential investment
• Structure, negotiate, and execute deals from term sheet to close
• Oversee financial diligence, modeling, and transaction planning
• Support post-acquisition integration and actively participate at the board level
• Build long-term investment relationships and represent across the venture, media, and acquisition ecosystems

What You Bring

• 7+ years of experience in private equity, venture capital, investment banking, or strategic M&A, preferably with media exposure
• Track record of leading deals from sourcing through to post-close integration
• Deep knowledge of media monetization models, brand partnerships, and licensing
• Strong network across the media, VC, and consumer brand landscapes
• Outstanding strategic thinking, negotiation skills, and financial acumen
