Our clients include industry leading organizations who partner with us to be an extension of their HR & Recruitment function.Position: Environmental Health & Safety Assistant.Location: Brantford, ON.Salary: $50,000 - $60,000 per year.Industry: Manufacturing / EH&S / Health and Safety / Industrial.Employment Term: Fulltime / Permanent.Shift: Afternoons. (Monday to Friday, 2:00 PM – 11:00 PM) Roles & Responsibilities:

• Plan, direct, and coordinate the organization's activities to ensure compliance to company's EH&S standards.
• Help to prevent and eliminate injury and illness to employees.
• Review, monitor and advise Company's Health & Safety management systems.
• Conduct daily EH&S audits.
• Other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Post-secondary education in Health & Safety or a related field.
• 1 – 2 years related EH&S experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001 and ISO/TS/IATF16949 certification systems an asset.
• Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office.
• Able to work Afternoons and Evening shift.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
