Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Leadership: Partner with the senior leadership and executive team to align HR initiatives with business objectives.
- Talent Management: Lead recruitment, retention, and succession planning to attract and retain top talent.
- Culture & Engagement: Foster a positive, inclusive workplace culture through employee engagement programs, feedback mechanisms, and leadership development.
- Compensation & Benefits: Design competitive compensation, benefits, and rewards programs.
- Learning & Development: Implement training and leadership programs to enhance employee growth.
- HR Operations & Compliance: Ensure compliance with labor laws, mitigate risks, and oversee HR policies.
- Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DEI): Champion DEI initiatives to build a diverse and equitable workforce.
- HR Technology: Optimize HRIS and analytics tools to drive data-driven decision-making.
- Change Management: Guide organizational transformations, mergers, or restructuring efforts.
Expected Qualifications:
- A bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or Industrial Relations is an asset / A Master's degree (e.g., MBA or MHRM) can be a strong asset for senior HR Executive roles.
- 8–10+ years of HR leadership experience with demonstrated strategic planning, change management, and business partnership.
- CPHR, SHRM-CP, PHR, or CHRP designation preferred.
- Strong knowledge of Canadian labor laws (Employment Standards Code, Workplace Safety & Health Act, Human Rights Code).
