We have partnered with a reputable residential developer and home builder seeking a Community Development Coordinator.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage community development projects from inception to completion.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to ensure project alignment and success.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with city officials and other key stakeholders within the Calgary market.
- Oversee the planning, design, and construction of new communities and enhancements to existing award-winning communities.
- Ensure all projects meet regulatory requirements and company standards.
- Set and achieve development targets, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Conduct effective negotiations with contractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders.
- Motivate and lead external teams to achieve project goals.
Qualifications:
- Professional engineering degree, Certified Engineering Technologist, or extensive civil engineering experience.
- At least 5 years of experience in the real estate land development industry, with prior experience in a coordinator or project manager role.
- Strong knowledge of civil engineering and residential construction.
- Proven ability to set and achieve development targets.
- Exceptional communication skills (written and verbal).
- Ability to conduct effective negotiations.
- Proven ability to motivate and lead external teams.
- Established connections with the City of Calgary and a strong network within the Calgary market.
