About the Role:
Our client, a leading producer of wholesome frozen meals for major North American retailers, is looking for a full-time Operating Engineer to join their skilled maintenance team. What You'll Do:
You'll play a key role in keeping the facility running smoothly and safely by:

• Operating and maintaining high-pressure steam boilers, refrigeration systems (NH3 and Freon), HVAC systems, and effluent systems.

• Installing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of mechanical equipment-pumps, conveyors, fans, and more.

• Performing inspections and routine maintenance to keep everything in top working condition.

• Reading blueprints and schematics to troubleshoot and solve mechanical issues.

• Collaborating with contractors and other maintenance staff to support plant operations.

• Ensuring food safety and quality standards are upheld in all tasks.

What We're Looking For:

• 3-5 years of experience as an Operating Engineer in an industrial or food manufacturing setting.

• Valid TSSA certification (3rd or 4th Class Operating Engineer preferred).

• Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, health & safety practices, and maintenance protocols.

• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

• Willingness to work afternoon shifts, with occasional flexibility for extended hours or weekends.
