Position Overview:

As a Roll-Off Driver, your primary responsibility is the safe and efficient operation of roll-off trucks to transport waste and recycling containers.

You are expected to comply with all traffic laws, company policies, and regulatory requirements while maintaining a high standard of customer service.

This position requires a commitment to safety, attention to detail, and excellent customer service skills.

Key Responsibilities:

Possess a valid AZ or DZ drivers license with a minimum of 3 years clean commercial driving experience.

Operate mini roll-off trucks safely while adhering to all traffic laws and company policies.

Maintain a strong focus on customer service, ensuring timely and professional deliveries and pickups.

Communicate with customers to confirm container placement or removal according to their requests.

Follow designated routes and schedules provided by Dispatch.

Ensure all required documentation (registration, insurance, CVOR) is current and in compliance.

Conduct thorough daily pre-trip inspections to ensure equipment is safe and meets regulatory requirements.

Identify and report any minor or major defects found during inspections and while enroute to the maintenance team.

Ensure all necessary safety equipment is present and functional inside the truck.

Comply with Hours of Service (HOS) regulations, ensuring electronic logs are properly maintained.

Secure and tarp loads as required to prevent debris from escaping during transport.

Follow all safety procedures and best practices to protect yourself, coworkers, and the public.

Adhere to all regulatory requirements and company policies to remain in compliance.

Preference will be given to candidates with roll-off experience, but we are willing to train a candidate with at least three years of flatbed experience.

Maintain regular communication with dispatch for scheduling, route updates, and instructions.
