About the Role:
Collective Society 360 is a not-for-profit organization focused on career and entrepreneurial development for youth in the Black, Indigenous, and People of Colour (BIPOC) communities. The organization aims to address corporate racial inequity and biases that hinder opportunities for marginalized youth. Through mentorship and strategic initiatives, Collective Society 360 seeks to create pathways for BIPOC youth to explore professions that have faced systemic discrimination.
Responsibilities:
Assist with event setup, coordination, and teardown
Manage timelines, vendor arrivals, and on-site troubleshooting
Move and organize event materials and decor (up to 30 lbs)
Act as the main contact for vendors, staff, and clients
Stay professional and solution-focused throughout the event
Qualifications:
Event or hospitality experience preferred but not required
Quick thinker, detail-oriented, and calm under pressure
Excellent organizational and communication skills
Able to lift up to 30 lbs and stand for extended periods
Flexible schedule (evenings and weekends)
Must live in Fredericton and have reliable transportation
