Position Overview:
- We are seeking an experienced SimCorp Business System Analyst – ABOR (Accounting Book of Record) for a 6-month contract role.
- The successful candidate will play a key role in configuring and optimizing SimCorp Dimension modules that support fund administration and financial accounting processes.
- This position requires strong domain knowledge in investment finance and valuation, coupled with solid analytical and communication skills.
- Lead and support configuration efforts in the Fund Administration and Financial Accounting modules of SimCorp Dimension, including:
- General Ledger setup
- Finance configuration
- Fund of fund structures
- Instrument lifecycle accounting
- Translate high-level user needs into detailed business and functional requirements with a strong focus on precision and feasibility.
- Perform in-depth analysis and root cause assessments to guide solution design and configuration decisions.
- Collaborate closely with operations, accounting, and technology teams across front, middle, and back office environments.
- Ensure configuration aligns with best practices for investment finance and net asset valuation.
- Contribute to testing, validation, and support activities throughout the project lifecycle.
- Document workflows, requirements, and system configurations clearly and effectively for both business and technical audiences.
Mandatory Experience:
- 5+ years of experience configuring the Fund Administration or Financial Accounting modules in SimCorp Dimension, including expertise in:
- Fund of fund structures
- General Ledger
- Instrument life cycle accounting
- 5+ years of domain experience in investment finance or net asset valuation.
- 3+ years of experience translating conceptual user requirements into detailed business requirements and solution features, with strong attention to detail and analytical capabilities.
- 3+ years of experience in roles involving operational expertise across the investment management industry, including front, middle, and back-office functions.
- 3+ years of demonstrated excellence in verbal and written communication within a business systems or project delivery context.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with ABOR-specific workflows in SimCorp.
- Familiarity with Agile delivery methodologies and tools such as JIRA, Confluence, or similar.
- Experience supporting SimCorp upgrades or implementation initiatives.
