We are on the lookout for a skilled, operationally minded, Data Analyst. This role will play a critical role in building and owning dashboards, metrics, and data models to support our operations and account management teams.

You will be responsible for deeply understanding our core metrics and ensuring we have actionable and insightful dashboards and data models to support our business. This includes dashboard development, data modelling, data cleanup, and ad-hoc analysis and reporting. This role will work very closely with our operations team and require some time spent in our warehouses.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and Maintain Data Platform:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and maintain our data analytics platform Looker

• Identify and source new data from external sources to enrich the existing data platform.
• Work closely with data and engineering teams to develop data pipelines and integrations for seamless data ingestion.
• Implement data governance practices to ensure data quality, consistency, and security.

KPI Measurement and Reporting:

• Maintain source of truth documentation on key performance indicators (KPIs) definitions and data sources across the business.
• Ensure core dashboards are maintained and groomed regularly to reduce conflicting information, streamline data usage, and drive actionable insights to the business.
• Conduct ad-hoc analysis to support operations efficiency and revenue retention

Troubleshooting and Data Cleanup:

• Monitor the data platform for any bugs, anomalies, or data quality issues.
• Investigate and troubleshoot issues related to data accuracy, completeness, or consistency.
• Conduct data cleaning and normalization processes to ensure data integrity and reliability.

Qualifications:

• Background in Computer Science, Analytics, or a related field.
• Experience with operations and logistics
• Strong proficiency in SQL querying, transformation, and manipulations
• Experience with Looker for data analysis and reporting
• Familiarity with data modeling concepts and best practices.
• Willingness and interest to go deep into our operations to understand processes and metrics and help shape their development overtime
• Experience with Python and scripting including integrating data from external sources
• Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and explain complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
