We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Operations Analyst/Manager to support the Director of Sortation in overseeing our sortation network in Canada and the US. This mid-level role focuses on monitoring network performance, collaborating with site leadership, and raising operational issues daily to ensure safety, quality, and efficiency standards are met. The Operations Analyst will analyze data, track KPIs, and facilitate communication to drive continuous improvement across GoBolt's internal sortation network.

Key Responsibilities Network Monitoring & Analysis
- Monitor daily operations across the sortation network, analyzing performance data to identify trends, bottlenecks, or deviations from safety, quality, and service standards.
- Track and report key operational and quality metrics (e.g., throughput, sortation accuracy, on-time dispatch) using tools like Excel or Power BI.
- Raise operational issues (e.g., equipment downtime, staffing shortages, mis-sorts) to the Director of Sortation and site leadership for timely resolution.
Site Leadership Support
- Follow up with site leaders to ensure alignment on daily operational goals, addressing variances in performance or compliance.
- Provide data-driven insights and recommendations to site managers to support decision-making and process improvements.
- Assist in training site teams on KPI tracking, quality standards, and best practices to enhance operational execution.
- Required to travel to the US and within Canada to support new site and initiative launches.
Issue Escalation & Communication
- Identify and escalate critical issues (e.g., safety concerns, quality failures, or productivity gaps) to the Director of Sortation and relevant stakeholders daily.
- Facilitate clear communication between site leadership, logistics, and other departments to ensure cohesive operations.
- Prepare concise reports or summaries for business reviews, highlighting key issues and proposed solutions.
Continuous Improvement & Collaboration
- Support continuous improvement initiatives by analyzing data and identifying opportunities to optimize sortation processes.
- Collaborate with logistics, finance, and customer service teams to align network performance with broader supply chain goals.
- Contribute to strategic discussions by providing actionable insights based on network performance data.
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain, Finance, or a related field.
- 35 years of experience in an analytical or operational role within a 3PL, logistics, or sortation environment.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel, Power BI, or similar data analysis tools.
- Solid understanding of sortation operations, logistics processes, and key industry metrics (e.g., throughput, sortation accuracy).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with experience coordinating with operational leaders and escalating issues effectively.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, data-driven environment with strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
