Job Summary
The Suite Sales Account Manager is a results-driven sales professional responsible for generating revenue through the sale of premium suites. This role focuses on both new business development and the retention of existing premium clients, requiring ability to close business, build relationships and a passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Prospect and cultivate new leads for suite sales through creative lead generation, networking, cold calling, and following up on organizational leads
- Conduct sales presentations via phone, email, in-person meetings, and virtual platforms to showcase suite and premium options
- Meet or exceed established monthly, quarterly, and annual sales and revenue goals for new business and renewals
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, local businesses, organizations, and individual buyers to maximize sales opportunities and client retention
- Provide high-level customer service to suite clients, addressing special requests, managing accounts, and ensuring a seamless game-day experience
- Entertain and nurture client relationships through networking events, in-suite visits, quarterly meetings and other creative engagement activities
- Manage all aspects of the sales process, including deal closing, payment collection, and contract execution
- Maintain accurate records in CRM systems (Salesforce), and prepare regular sales and activity reports for management
- Participate in game-day activities, promotions, and special events to support sales initiatives and foster client engagement
Qualifications and Requirements
- Bachelors degree from college or university, preferably in business, marketing, sports management, or a related field
- Minimum of two to three years of sales experience, ideally in sports, entertainment, or hospitality, with a proven track record of achieving sales targets
- Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with senior-level executives
- Highly organized, self-motivated, and capable of working independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, competitive environment
- Proficiency in CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce), Microsoft Office, and ticketing systems (e.g., Ticketmaster Archtics) is preferred.
- Flexibility to work extended hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities to develop new sales programs and enhance client experiences
- Proficiency in both official languages is an asset
