The ideal candidate will be well versed in traditional and modern Pakistani cuisine, with proven ability to prepare authentic dishes in a high volume, fast paced environment. You will support day-to-day culinary operations, prepare high-quality dishes, and contribute to a positive and efficient kitchen environment. Key Responsibilities:Prepare and cook a variety of Pakistani dishes, ensuring authenticity and consistency in taste and presentation.
Follow established recipes and presentation standards while also contributing to the development of new dishes.
Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner and in accordance with banquet schedules.
Maintain a clean, organized, and hygienic workstation at all times.
Uphold food safety, cleanliness, and sanitation standards as per provincial health regulations.
Collaborate in planning and updating banquet menus with a focus on quality, seasonality, and authenticity.
Assist in ordering, receiving, and proper storage of ingredients and supplies.
Ensure minimal food waste through efficient preparation and storage practices.
Work effectively within a team during large-scale events and independently during prep and setup.
Minimum 3 years of experience as a Pakistani Cook, preferably in a banquet or large kitchen environment.
Deep knowledge of Pakistani cuisine, ingredients, spices, and cooking techniques.
Proven ability to handle high-volume food production while maintaining quality.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Detail-oriented with a commitment to culinary excellence.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a multicultural kitchen team.
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required for events.
