We're proud to support a wide range of supply chains with sustainable, eco-friendly pallet solutions. Our team is the backbone of our business — and we are looking for an Afternoon Supervisor who isn't afraid to roll up their sleeves, jump on a forklift, and help drive production forward. About the Role: As an Operations Lead – Pallet Production, you'll work directly on the shop floor, helping to oversee a crew of 12–15 employees building new pallets. You'll be hands-on every day — driving a forklift, coordinating workflow, and supporting the Production Manager to keep operations running smoothly. 1. Shift: Monday–Friday, 2:00PM to 11:00PM 2. Overtime & Weekend Work: Available as needed 3. Forklift experience and license are REQUIRED and will be tested ------------------------------- What you will do: 1. Operate a forklift to move raw materials and finished pallets 2. Supervise a production crew of 20-30 employees across the day and evening shifts, keeping them motivated and on task 3. Coordinate the flow of work across stations to meet tight deadlines 4. Schedule jobs based on inventory needs and outgoing shipments 5. Help plan and execute daily raw material cutting lists 6. Monitor employee productivity and provide coaching when needed 7. Perform regular quality checks to ensure pallet standards are met 8. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment 9. Track production data and support reporting to management 10. Communicate with the day shift to ensure a smooth transition 11. Help troubleshoot production issues and recommend improvements ------------------------------- What You Bring to the Table: 1. 2+ years forklift experience (licence required) 2. 2+ years in a manufacturing or production environment 3. Strong leadership and communication skills 4. Able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting 5. Comfortable lifting up to 60 lbs and working in a noisy environment 6. Quick-thinking and confident in making on-the-spot decisions 7. Flexible and open to schedule changes or last-minute priorities Bonus if you have: 1. Experience with running manufacturing equipment and pneumatic tools or saws 2. Familiarity with Lean manufacturing principles to improve efficiency and reduce waste in the scheduling process ------------------------------- Why join us: 1. $24–$27/hour (based on experience) 2. Paid overtime and Benefits: Health, dental, vision, life insurance 3. Free on-site parking 4. Tools and safety gear provided 5. Paid time off ------------------------------- Note: We use AI tools to help screen and track applications. Only qualified candidates will be contacted for next steps.
