As a Software Engineer - System Integration, you will be a part of the CARFAX AI team. The CARFAX AI team is the leads of AI innovation at CARFAX and provides core AI services to product teams to help millions of customers shop, buy, service, and sell vehicles with more confidence. What you'll be doing:

• Work in a dynamic, agile, team environment
• Contribute design decisions, including new technology research and prototyping
• Collaborate closely with other engineers, architects, cloud engineers, support teams and other stakeholders
• Innovate new ideas to evolve our applications and processes
• Review and test existing code-bases or technical integrations across various CARFAX projects
• Helping to support other teams to integrate with our core AI solutions
• Participating in daily huddles and other Scrum ceremonies
• Promoting great software design and quality through a disciplined development methodology

What we're looking for:

• Degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience
• 3+ years of experience as a full stack software engineer with focus on back-end service research and integration
• Object oriented experience with languages such as Java or Python
• Experience with client/server architecture and building web services
• Experience with relational and NoSQL database such as MySQL, Mongo, DynamoDB or Elasticsearch
• Experience with developing in a cloud environment (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
• Experience with modern front-end JavaScript libraries (such as ReactJS, Vue, or Angular)
• Experience in full SDLC development including design, building, testing, deployment, upgrade, and support
• Experience working with cross-functional project delivery
• Strong verbal and written communication skills and strong team player who will help mentor and guide other developers
• Experience with Product and Production support

Bonus Points if You Have:

• Understanding of AI/ML frameworks and tools (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch)
• Experience in AI/ML projects is highly desirable
• Experience with building large-scale, common applications or services that enrich multiple products
