As a Software Data Engineer you will be part of Data Technology Team. Specializing in the CARFAX for Police Development Team, they work with our police agency partners across North America to process millions of accident reports per year and provide real and true value in their fight against crime.

This role has an expectation of 2 days in the London, ON office per week, subject to change based on future business needs.

What you'll be doing:

• Work in team environment using Agile practices.

• Develop high performing ELT systems.

• Transform highly complex unstructured data into normalize, consumable details for customers and police agencies .

• Utilize test driven, paired programming and continuous integration development methods.

• Constantly be exposed to new technologies to learn and grow your skills.

What we're looking for:

• Snowflake development experience.

• Objected Oriented Programming.

• Working with non-relational and relational databases.

• Cloud based technologies, AWS preferred.

• Git and branching strategies.

• Working and collaborating with remote teams.

• Knowledge of coding best practices for security and performance.

• Ambition, passion and drive to learn and bring new technologies to solve the problem and create new products.

• Continuous Integration/Delivery.

• Agile software development including Test Driven Development and Pair Programming.
