Senior Project ManagerLocation: Vancouver, BCAbout the Role:

Our client, a leading general contractor known for its diverse project portfolio, is seeking an experienced and dynamic Senior Project Manager to join their team. The successful candidate will oversee all aspects of construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role requires a strong leader who can manage complex projects across residential, commercial, and institutional sectors.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Project Planning and Management: Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation. Monitor project progress and make necessary adjustments to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and manage project teams, including subcontractors and consultants. Foster a collaborative and productive work environment.
  • Client Relations: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients. Ensure client satisfaction by addressing concerns promptly and maintaining open lines of communication.
  • Quality Control: Implement and oversee quality control measures to ensure all work meets or exceeds industry standards and client expectations.
  • Risk Management: Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies. Monitor and manage risks throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Financial Oversight: Manage project budgets, track expenses, and ensure cost-effectiveness. Prepare and present regular financial reports to stakeholders.
  • Compliance: Ensure all projects comply with local building codes, safety regulations, and environmental standards.
Qualifications:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field. PMP or equivalent certification is a plus.
  • Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience in project management within the construction industry, with a proven track record of managing large-scale projects.
  • Skills: Strong leadership and team management skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in project management software and tools.
  • Knowledge: In-depth understanding of construction processes, materials, and legal regulations. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
Compensation:
  • Salary: $140,000 - $160,000 per year
