Thomas Talent Network, LLC is currently seeking a highly skilled and professional Pharmacist to join our team. As a Pharmacist, you will be responsible for dispensing medications, providing medication counseling to patients, and ensuring the safe and effective use of medications. You will work closely with healthcare providers to optimize medication therapy and contribute to the overall patient care experience.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure accurate and timely dispensing of prescription medications
• Conduct medication therapy reviews and provide medication counseling to patients
• Collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize medication therapy and improve patient outcomes
• Monitor for potential drug interactions, contraindications, and adverse reactions
• Provide drug information to healthcare providers and patients
• Manage inventory and supplies, including ordering and restocking medications
• Ensure compliance with state and federal pharmacy laws and regulations
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and medication safety programs
• Stay current with new drugs and treatment guidelines

Requirements

Requirements:

• Valid Pharmacist license in the state of practice
• Bachelor's or Doctor of Pharmacy degree from an accredited pharmacy program
• Completion of a pharmacy residency program (preferred, but not required)
• Strong knowledge of pharmacy operations, medication therapy, and drug information resources
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team
• Proficient in pharmacy software systems and technology
• Familiarity with insurance and billing processes
• Flexibility to work evenings and weekends, as needed
