Responsibilities:

• Scheduling and maintaining the daily and weekly production plan for the bakery including labour requirements
• Creating and updating the production in MRP
• Supporting the delivery of the production plan
• Maintaining a current view of MRP for the current weeks production plan
• Maintaining a current view of MRP for the 13 week rolling forecast production plan
• Provide daily fresh schedule for all departments
• Review previous day's production and implement changes to the schedule as required from the anticipated delay meeting
• Minimize product changeover by effective planning
• Participate in weekly production meetings
• Responsible for any shorts explanation is required daily
• Work closely with Purchasing, Production and Logistics to facilitate any emergency requests
• Maintain customer fill rate of 99. 8% or better
• Perform other duties and projects as assigned
  

Qualifications:

• College diploma preferred or equivalent experience
• Computer literate and proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel)

This is a 3-6 month contract
