MOSAIC is seeking a positive, client-centered, results-oriented person with excellent communication skills to join our IELTS Speaking Examiners team.
ABOUT THE POSITION:
MOSAIC Engage are looking for suitably qualified and experienced individuals to join our team of IELTS Speaking Examiners at our Surrey locations; 7134 King George & 8318 120 Street. MOSAIC will provide the necessary training and the applicant must be available for training on April 20th and 21st, 2024. IELTS Examiners are responsible for conducting speaking tests to IELTS standards. Most speaking examining shifts are Saturday afternoons and evenings, although we have certain shifts throughout the week as well. Our mission is to provide fair tests in a friendly and progressive setting. We believe everyone should be treated with dignity and respect. Tests are open to everyone and scored without bias.
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
- An undergraduate or Master's degree or a qualification that can be demonstrated to be equivalent to an undergraduate or Master's degree.
- A recognized qualification in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL) or recognized equivalent as part of a recognized university award course.
- At least 3 years' full-time (or the equivalent part-time) relevant TESOL teaching experience (minimum one-year post-certificate level qualification). The majority of the teaching experience must relate to adult students (16 years and over).
- The required professional attributes and interpersonal skills.
- Understand the values and mission of MOSAIC.
- Current and satisfactory Criminal Record Check required
HOURS:
On-Call (weekdays, weekends, and evenings)
Must be available for training on April 20 and 21, 2024 (both days)
STARTING PAY:
$45/ hour with paid break and paid prep time
BENEFITS:
A competitive benefits package is provided with contracts of at least 1 year in length and which offer a minimum of 17.5 hours of work per week.
