Position Type: Casual

Position Summary:

This position is to complete psychosocial assessment for referrals to the CDBC Assessment Clinic. To gather information from collateral sources including birth parents, family members and other community sources. To participate in clinic team meetings and consultation to determine diagnosis. To facilitate appropriate referrals to community supports and prepare social work summaries and recommendations for diagnostic assessment reports.

Qualifications

  • A degree in Social Work from a recognized institution
  • Current full registration with the British Columbia College of Social Workers
  • Knowledge and expertise in the areas of FASD and CDBC
