One of TEEMA's clients is looking for an Intermediate Release Lead. This role will manage and guide continuous integration. Duties and responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
  • Enabling delivery of business value on demand without compromising the quality of the product and ensuring a secure and stable production environment. This includes planning and synchronizing the availability of technical environments for all product sustainment and project efforts.
  • Using knowledge of the product roadmaps, technical expertise and Agile/DevOps knowledge to maximize delivery productivity.
  • Implementing procedures that ensure predictability, transparency and repeatability of product implementations and deployments for the full life cycle from development through to and including production.
  • Collaborating with internal development and operational teams to support and facilitate the delivery of a highly available production environment.
  • Helping to remove any technical impediments blocking the progress of product delivery.
What you need to have:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) majors AND 3-6 years (real-time) of equivalent work experience in IT involving software development, quality assurance and testing, continuous process improvement, and/or technical proficiency.
  • Of the 3 years, 2+ years must be in a release management role.
  • Of the 3 years, 1+ years of experience working in cloud environments, preferably Azure or complex enterprise environments.
  • Of the 3 years, 1+ years of relevant experience in an agile development environment.
  • An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
  • Experience in providing standards, guidance and leadership on release management best practices.
  • Experience in planning, managing and overseeing release management in an Agile Environment.
  • Considerate ability ensuring the integrity of the production environment is protected and the correct components are released.
  • SAFe training and certification (e.g., SAFe for Teams or SAFe Scrum Master), or willingness to undertake training and obtain certification within two (2) months from commencement of work.
