Position: Personal Assistant (Bilingual & Education Focus)
Reports to: Senior Vice President

Contract Type: Full Time
Contract Length: Permanent with a 6-month probation period
Workplace: Primarily at the Senior Vice President's home (may require travel with the family)

Responsibilities:

  • Engage in thorough communication and collaboration with teachers and parents to assess and enhance children's learning experiences, both inside and outside the classroom, with the goal of improving learning efficiency and quality.
  • Supervise the completion of various academic tasks by the children.
  • Provide psychological guidance and daily encouragement to children throughout their learning journey.
  • Collaborate on additional educational duties for children as directed by the Senior Vice President (SVP) or her family.
  • Coordinate with various school and tutoring teachers to schedule parent-teacher meetings and children's events, accompany the SVP to attend these events, and provide translation services.
  • Update children's schedules and curriculum, coordinate changes, and communicate this information to the children and their nannies.
  • Communicate with tutoring teachers and provide recommendations for university (or secondary school) applications and summer school (camp) programs.
  • Pick up children from school, escort them to tutoring sessions, and accompany them during tutoring classes. (prefer to have a valid driver's license)
  • If necessary, accompany the children and the SVP family to other cities or countries during holidays for educational purposes.
  • Provide other educational support as required.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in English or related field from a North America university; TEM8/IELTS 7 or above. Excellent English communication skills. Candidates with degrees from prestigious North America universities will be given preference.
  • Experience in prestigious school applications and familiarity with various international curriculum and examination types. Candidates with relevant teaching experience and prior work experience in international schools will be preferred.
  • Strong language expression, adaptability, and logical thinking skills with influence and inspiration abilities.
  • Demonstrates strong learning, comprehension, stress management, and research abilities.
  • Proficient in both English and Mandarin languages. Bilingual teaching or all-English teaching experience is a plus.
