About the Role:

We are seeking a Pre-Sales Engineer with expertise in cybersecurity to join our team. In this role, you will be a key player in driving our cybersecurity solutions to success. Collaborating closely with our sales team, you will provide technical expertise, address customer inquiries and ensure our clients receive the best cybersecurity solutions tailored to their needs.

Preferred Expertise:

  • 5+ years of experience as a Sales Engineer or similar
  • Strong understanding of OSI model layers, protocols, and network fundamentals, specifically layer 7 (Application Layer) (eg. HTTP/HTTPS, FTP/SFTP, SMTP, DNS, etc.)
  • Experience with the concepts of deploying Firewalls, Load Balancers, Proxies, Content Delivery Networks and/or WAFs
  • Practical understanding of reverse and forward proxies, along with their applications
  • Performance and Security aspects in internet properties, addressing Speed, Latency, Caching, HTTP/2, and TLSv1.3 as well as Firewalls, Zero Trust, Bot Management, etc.
  • Bonus: Familiarity with or hands-on experience in navigating regulatory requirements such as PCI DSS, HIPAA, and SOC-2

Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical expertise and support to the sales team during the pre-sales process
  • Educate clients on the features and benefits of our products and services
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their specific data security needs and tailor solutions accordingly
  • Conduct product demonstrations and proof of concept presentations to showcase the effectiveness of our cybersecurity solutions
  • Act as an SME and trusted advisor to clients, offering guidance on cybersecurity best practices and helping clients make informed decisions
  • Design and build a 'Bill of Materials' detailing the integration and deployment of DataStealth solutions into the client's environment, ensuring a seamless transition
