Job purpose

The Sales Development Representative (SDR) prospects and engages potential customers who can benefit from our products and services. As the person-to-person interaction with our prospects, ideal SDRs will be able to demonstrate strong product knowledge, articulate our value proposition(s) through verbal and all non-verbal communications, establish and develop rapport, and execute on our sales playbook (front end of sales process). Successful SDR's will be great team players, working closely with Account Executive's (AE's), Customer Success and Marketing.

Duties and responsibilities

  • Execute on our SDR playbook, contact and schedule meetings with new companies and leads, as directed by your line manager and align with business objectives
  • Working closely with AE's and Marketing to execute on Sales strategy
  • Prospecting – Identifying target accounts
  • Meet and exceed all KPI's as assigned by the company
  • High outreach volumes – Emails, social interaction (e.g. LinkedIn), Cold calling, industry events, etc.
  • Present and introduce Company solutions to new prospects.
  • Educate prospects and customers about our business solutions.
  • Qualifying prospective buyers for the Account Executive team.
  • Nurturing warm prospects throughout the year to develop them from a pre-consideration to consideration buying stage.
  • Staying current on Company offerings and industry trends.
  • Routinely manage and update information in the Company customer relationship management software (CRM), including all outbound activity, research, all correspondence, notes from prospect conversations and on the organizational structures of large enterprise companies
  • Building and maintaining a lead pipeline with a high conversation rate
  • Attend sales meetings to provide progress updates and researching industry trends.
  • Identifying new sales opportunities through networking initiatives and customer referrals.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or at least 2 years of relevant work experience preferred
  • Strong verbal and non-verbal communication skills
  • Excellent written communication skills
  • Ability to complete assignments in a timely manner
  • Self-driven to achieve and exceed personal and team goals

Working Conditions

  • Using computers, printers, scanners and other office equipment.
  • May require working evenings and weekends. Potential travel requirements.
  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to access various departments of a given location.
