We are currently seeking a full-time experienced Admissions Associate to join our team. As an essential part of the Admission team, you will play a crucial role in recruiting and enrolling new students. You will be the first point of contact for the school, responsible for creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere for all visitors. Your primary role will be to provide personalized attention to families - from their initial inquiry to the enrollment and re-enrollment of their children at the school. Our admission team works closely together to achieve the school's admission goals, and the environment is fast-paced and constantly changing. This requires all team members to be highly organized, innovative, and adaptable.

What you will be doing - role overview

  • Develop a close relationship with the QMS community by actively participating in its events, programs, and activities to understand its unique culture.
  • Be the primary point of contact for prospective families from their first inquiry to enrollment.
  • Respond to inquiries through telephone, email, social media, or in person, providing excellent administrative service throughout the admissions process.
  • Organize and conduct informative and engaging tours for prospective families
  • Guide prospective families through the admission process, including class visits, testing, interviewing, and reviewing their applicant files.
  • Execute initiatives and events to enroll students, such as orientations, open houses, external school fairs, new family events, etc.
  • Ensure efficient administrative functions, including accurately recording and reporting all information to collaborate effectively with the team on each inquiry. Monitor data, make informed decisions, and identify trends.
  • Support the Admissions Director in identifying and developing strong working relationships with outside institutions or groups that could contribute to attracting students.
  • Cultivate and manage relationships with recruitment partners to identify prospective students and emerging markets for international student enrollment efforts.
  • Cultivate relationships with families, agents, and recruitment partners to support the re-enrollment of current domestic and international students for the succeeding year, with constant monitoring of attrition and retention.
  • Contribute to the development and publication of appropriate marketing materials and initiatives that interpret the school to prospective students, ensuring consistency of message and design, tailored to appropriate markets.
  • Participate actively in events, programs, and activities to create a personal connection with the QMS community and develop an awareness of what makes QMS stand out from other schools.
  • Represent the school both at home and internationally and develop relationships with educational consultants, agents, and cultivate suitable candidates.

The ideal candidate will be an experienced Admissions professional with at least two years experience in a similar role and be able to demonstrate outstanding administrative skills and communication skills, who should enjoy the traveling requirement of this role, meeting people, and working in an office environment while making a positive impact in the community. The work may require some weekend and evening commitments, but it will be worth it to be part of recruitment campaigns and other school events. The successful candidate will need to manage their schedule effectively and complete project work outside of regular office hours if needed.
