Why this role is significant
As a Massage Practitioner, you are responsible for creating an atmosphere of overall wellness that combines body, mind, and spirit. Using specialty massages and body treatments, you provide guests with a sense of joy and relaxation. You use your emotional intelligence and training to identify the best treatment options to maximize your guests' experience.
A day in the life
- Welcome guests and provide courteous, professional service throughout treatment.
- Make customized treatment and retail product recommendations.
- Provide high-quality body treatments that address relaxation needs and individual preferences.
- Perform a variety of massage techniques, including deep tissue and relaxation, to meet guests' needs.
- Practice safe work environment standards and uphold health and safety guidelines.
- Staying current with industry trends and advancements in massage therapy.
What you bring to the team
- A professional and connection-oriented demeanor with a high aptitude for an interdependent role within a spa setting.
- An understanding of how guest experience is enhanced by matching your frequency, and the importance of creating an ideal spa experience for them as part of a family.
- You have a level of self-awareness that enables open communication without defenses.
- You bring excellent decision-making skills with attention to detail that demonstrates a caring nature.
- Strong social skills and sensitivity with the ability to handle any situation with grace.
- We hope you bring at least one year of massage experience including deep tissue massage.
- You have massage training from an accredited and recognized massage school.
- Experience with body treatments and wraps is a bonus!
- Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including weekends is required.
