The Opportunity

We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to join our tax team. This is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned CPA who is looking to progress their career in a high-growth and high-opportunity public accounting environment.

About You

• You have 1-3 year's post-CPA experience with recent employment in a public accounting firm including a strong focus on tax.
• You have experience in performing tax planning and preparation for individuals, estates, trusts, and small businesses with a focus on an owner-managed client base.
• You are comfortable researching complex and unusual tax matters and applying this specialized knowledge to anticipate, identify, and address a variety of tax issues relevant to internal and external clients including re-organizations.
• You have a proven ability to prepare and review a variety of Canadian and/or U.S. tax returns (T1, T2, T3s, etc) for individuals and organizations.
• You demonstrate high level of accountability and ownership with little oversight.
• You are comfortable working with Caseware, TaxPrep and Microsoft Office products, and are always eager to learn new technologies.
• You have an insatiable curiosity to learn more and apply your technical knowledge to identify issues and offer recommended solutions for both your clients and co-workers.

About The Details

This is a permanent full-time position which can be structured as hybrid or working out of one of our RLB offices in Ontario. Paid overtime may be required occasionally during busier times.
