The Senior Software Developer will work with the team to improve and extend their existing systems and services.
What you will be doing:
- Analyze integration systems requirements and existing system's capabilities.
- Design and clearly document systems integration solutions.
- Design, develop, deploy and test key integrations between various clinic computer systems using a variety of technologies such as Azure Data Functions, serverless functions, Iguana's HL7 interface engine, etc.
- Participate in design sessions and code reviews.
- Create technical specifications and test plans.
- Improve existing systems by analyzing areas of modification.
- Hard Skills
- Understanding of Microsoft Power BI desktop and service.
- Hands-on experience in data preparation, data gateway and data warehousing projects.
- Experience in connecting to data sources, importing data and transforming data for Business Intelligence.
- Proficient in both PowerBI languages - M and DAX.
- Experience in developing user-friendly and insightful visual reports, dashboards and KPI scorecards using Power BI desktop.
- Develop (create new and update existing), publish, schedule reports and dashboards.
- Experience in designing, implementing, and executing test cases.
- Assist business users with using published reports/dashboard and performing ad hoc data analysis.

- Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems or a closely related field.
- 7+ years development experience with Microsoft Power BI.
- 1 to 2 years experience in writing SQL (or similar).
- Nice to have - experience with Azure DevOps.
- Healthcare expertise.
