Job Title: Network and Windows Server Administrator Job ID: CV3059248728Location: Burnaby, BCOverview:Our client is looking for an IT Network and Windows Server Administrator (NWSA) to assist daily operational tasks and projects involving networking (on prem and cloud based) in a Windows and Linux Server environment. The NWSA will be responsible for documentation of any/all implemented changes made/done to the various systems. Additionally, the NWSA will be responsible for aiding with the administration and support of Windows Servers. What you will be doing:
- Provide daily operational support for Networking, Firewall and Windows Server systems.
- Assist with maintenance and operations in both datacenters (Burnaby and Penticton).
- Visit and assist networking issues at various regional and site offices.
- Document current as-is setup at sites and regional offices.
- Document system changes and modifications made.
- Assist with change management and training and documentation activities.
- Additional support of on-premise Windows and Azure Servers as required.
- 5 to 10 years Networking experience.
- 3 to 5 years of experience with Windows Server administration.
- 1 to 3 years of experience with Azure administration.
- Expert knowledge of Cisco and Cisco Meraki network hardware.
- Demonstrated superior analytical, problem solving and judgement skills.
- Ability to learn and quickly comprehend technical and business concepts.
- Ability to work well under pressure and able to manage simultaneous priorities, pressures, and deadlines.
- Working for public agencies and/or social service organizations.
