Lambert Nemec Group, Winnipeg's leader in Permanent Accounting & Finance Recruitment, has partnered with our client in the public practice firm, to recruit a Staff Accountant (Public Practice). Responsibilities:

• Financial Statement preparation for clients
• Prepare personal and corporate income tax returns and other tax slips
• Adapt audit and review methodology to a range of client types
• Foster an efficient, innovative and team-focused environment
• Leverage technology to continually learn, share knowledge with team members and enhance service delivery

Requirements:

The successful candidate would have the following:

• CPA designation or currently enrolled in the CPA program and working towards their designation
• A minimum of one-year public practice experience is highly preferred
• Strong knowledge of Excel and other accounting softwares
• Self-starter with strong attention to detail
• Ability to deliver in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to liaise with clients, team members and outside parties
