Reporting to the VP, Human Resources, the Learning & Development Manager is responsible for designing and executing the L&D strategy for the company. They will lead and own companywide learning initiatives and leadership development programs, and source and support function-specific learning strategies through effective needs analysis, blended learning design, delivery and measurement of success. They will promote and enhance Lindt’s culture and core values within training and development initiatives and serve as a trusted advisor to business leaders. This role is also responsible for driving a high-performing organizational culture, engagement, and career growth by providing best-in-class programs that will attract and retain top-talent.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with VP HR to develop and deliver L&D strategy
  • Partner with HR Managers and senior leaders to assess learning gaps and identify solutions
  • Leverage analytics and other innovative approaches to deeply understand the business and development needs to source or design and deliver trainings
  • Coordinate workshops, training and leadership development programs
  • Source and coordinate third-party experts and/or subject matter experts related to specific training or development needs
  • Monitor, measure and evaluate the effectiveness of programs to ensure objectives continuously meet business needs and promote organizational efficiency
  • Leverage data from LMS and LinkedIn Learning to inform strategy and trainings
  • Maintain cutting-edge focus on current technology, trends and best practices and leverages this information within our L&D programs
  • Manage the Lindt mentoring program, Lindt Internship program and other professional development programs that strengthen skills and create future leaders
  • Support and champion our learning culture, encouraging learners and mangers to self-serve our learning offerings, use a 70:20:10 approach to their learning and capture in Individual Development Plans
  • Own Lindt’s career path frameworks and continue to add career enriching resources
  • Manage multi-rater feedback development programs
  • Partner with HR Managers to strengthen succession planning programs and activities
  • Manage global training programs and training platforms including updating materials and integration with HRIS
  • Support the execution, administration and reporting of training programs and participants

Requirements:

  • Undergraduate degree in a relevant field (e.g., Organizational Behavior, L&D etc.)
  • 3+ years experience coordinating and facilitating learning & development programs
  • Certification in Learning & Development or equivalent is preferred
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and adept at time management
  • Excellent written communication skills and strong oral communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and facilitation skills to which employees respond positively
  • Strong attention to detail and quantitative/qualitative analysis skills
  • Project management experience
  • Understanding of LMS systems
  • French language skills are an asset
