Are you a skilled drywall installer looking for an exciting opportunity to showcase your talents? At GSN UNITE HOMES & CONSTRUCTION INC., we are seeking dedicated individuals to join our dynamic team. As a drywall installer, you will play a crucial role in transforming spaces and ensuring high-quality finishes in residential and commercial projects.

Your Responsibilities

In this role, you will:

  • Apply, level, and smooth coats of plaster to create flawless surfaces.
  • Clean and prepare surfaces for drywall installation.
  • Cut and install metal corner beads to protect exterior corners.
  • Fabricate and install suspended metal ceiling grids and place panels to form acoustical and coffered ceilings.
  • Fill joints, nail indentations, holes, and cracks with joint compound using a trowel and broad knife.
  • Finish corners and angles, and create decorative designs in the finish coat as required.
  • Measure, cut, fit, and install drywall sheets with precision.
  • Tape over joints using a taping machine and embed tape in compound.
  • Install metal stud framing and furring for interior drywall or plaster walls and ceilings using hand and power tools.

  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
