Key Responsibilities

As a Long Haul Truck Driver, you will:

• Address customers' complaints or concerns with professionalism
• Drive as part of a two-person team or convoy
• Load and unload goods safely and efficiently
• Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials
• Oversee the condition of the vehicle and perform inspections on tires, lights, brakes, and cold storage
• Perform brake adjustments and emergency roadside repairs as needed
• Conduct pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections
• Perform preventive maintenance on the vehicle
• Receive and relay information to central dispatch
• Record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption
• Tarp and ensure the safety and security of cargo

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• Class 1/1F/A Licence (semi trailer trucks)
• Air Brake (Z) Endorsement
• Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
• Experience: Will train
