About the Role

This temporary position offers a full-time schedule of 40 hours per week, where you will play a vital role in the development and well-being of children in our care.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess children's development to create tailored learning plans.
- Assist co-workers with housekeeping and cooking duties.
- Bathe, diaper, and feed infants and toddlers.
- Develop and implement child-care programs that promote physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development.
- Maintain daycare equipment and encourage creativity through art, music, and physical activity.
- Guide children in developing proper eating, dressing, and toilet habits.
- Prepare snacks and arrange rooms for lunch and rest periods.
- Observe children for signs of potential learning or behavioral issues and prepare reports.
- Establish guidelines for behavior and maintain collaborative relationships with co-workers and community service providers.
- Attend staff meetings to discuss children's progress and challenges.

- Experience: 3 to 5 years in a similar role.

- Emergency Child Care First Aid and CPR
- Early Childhood Education (ECE) Certificate
- First Aid Certificate
- CPR Certificate
- Security: Criminal record check, Child Abuse Registry check, and Vulnerable sector check required.
- Transportation: Own transportation and vehicle necessary.
