About the Job

As a Day Camp Counsellor, you will play a vital role in our outdoor and recreational programs. Your responsibilities will include:

• Demonstrating and instructing athletic, fitness, or sports activities and techniques.
• Keeping logs and maintaining records of activities.
• Scheduling engaging activities for participants.
• Instructing groups and individuals in arts and crafts.
• Assisting with the coordination of recreational, sport, and fitness events.
• Leading groups and individuals in various recreational or leisure programs.
• Understanding principles of group dynamics to foster a positive environment.
• Ensuring health and safety regulations are followed.
• Monitoring activities to ensure safety and providing emergency or first aid assistance when required.
