OLDF is looking for a student to join our team as an Administrative Assistant (Part Time) working in person at our head office in North York.
Ontario Learning Development Foundation (OLDF) is a registered charity in Canada that provides training and educational services to youth, children, new immigrants, and seniors. We are a non-profit organization with a mission to transform our communities through integrated academic and community-response empowerment initiatives for children, youth, new immigrants, and their families.
Responsibilities:• Interact with clients daily in person, by phone or by email in a professional and courteous manner• Be the “go-to” person by replying to general information requests with accurate information• Responding to client inquiries in a timely and responsive manner• Be proficient on a computer by preparing reports, memos and documents (forms) from scratch and maintaining our filing system• Photocopy and fax documents• Research and enter data into spreadsheets• Coordinate office supplies and maintain office equipment• Perform other administrative tasks requested by management
Qualifications:• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills• Ability to take the initiative and work independently without constant supervision• Highly proficient with Microsoft Office products (including MS Word, Excel, Access, Outlook, and PowerPoint) and the Internet• High attention to detail and data accuracy with strict adherence to policies and handling of confidential information• Must have strong interpersonal, communication, time management and organizational skills• Proven ability to work well independently• Excellent customer service orientation

Time Commitment
- Monday to Saturday approx. 15 - 20 hours/week
- In-person position located at our head office in North York
- Salary: $17.20 per hour
