Who are we?
Our team plays a key role in managing and optimizing transportation and customs for all divisions of UAP. You will join a collaborative environment where every voice matters and innovation is at the heart of what we do.
Your daily responsibilities:
- Strategically and operationally manage transportation to ensure high-performance service.
- Negotiate agreements with carriers and propose solutions to optimize costs.
- Support and assist our internal clients by addressing their operational needs and participating in special projects.
- Handle transportation-related administrative follow-up, including document management and invoice verification.
- Be a key player in our succession plan, with opportunities to advance toward a transport department manager role.
Qualifications
What we are looking for:
- A degree in operations management, logistics, industrial engineering, or a related field with a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in a similar role.
- Strong negotiation and analytical skills.
- Good knowledge of carriers and routes across Canada and the United States.
- Mastery of transportation regulations and documentation.
- Excellent communication skills in both French and English, spoken and written. In this position, you will regularly collaborate with internal clients across Canada.
