SNB Woodlands is seeking a Contractor Truck Driver (Class 1) in Southern New Brunswick.

RESPONSIBILITIES
What You'll Do:

  • Operate with safety and precision - Drive and operate a self-loader truck in compliance with all safety regulations and company standards.
  • Meet performance targets - Work independently to achieve production and utilization goals in remote and dynamic environments.
  • Inspect and maintain equipment - Conduct daily inspections of your truck and loader, reporting any issues to ensure operational readiness.
  • Secure your load - Load and secure logs using the self-loader, following all legal and safety protocols.
  • Coordinate with the team - Communicate with loader operators and dispatch to ensure efficient routing and delivery.

QUALIFICATIONS
What We're Looking For:

  • Experienced driver - Minimum 2 years of truck driving experience; 5 years and off-highway logging experience preferred.
  • Certified and capable - Valid Class 1 Driver's License required; additional safety or mechanical certifications are an asset.
  • Mechanically minded - Basic troubleshooting skills and a strong understanding of truck and loader maintenance.
  • Independent and adaptable - Comfortable working alone in remote areas and making decisions on the fly.
  • Strong communicator - Able to coordinate effectively with field teams and report clearly to supervisors.
