Hiring for a RPN to work with our family physician at a Brampton Medical Clinic. Looking for a like-minded individual to complement the efficient operation of our medical clinic and to provide a positive impact to our patients and visitors. Must be able to perform medical and receptionist duties.

Responsibilities

• Practice according to CNO standards, policies, procedures, and legislative requirements
• Accurately and efficiently triage patients
• Administer injections / record patient vitals
• Reception duties including scheduling and confirming appointments, responding to emails, answering phone calls, creating profiles, arranging referrals, faxing and call backs for investigations
• Sanitizing rooms after each use.
• Maintain vaccine fridge including taking daily temperatures, monitoring/ordering/picking up vaccines.
• Maintaining clinic supplies.
• Provide and maintain a high quality and appropriate care to all individuals/families who are assigned to their care.
• Establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers, leadership team, suppliers and the general public.
• Maintain regular consistent and professional attendance, punctuality, personal appearance, and adhere to relevant health and safety procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• RPN certification from CNO, must be in good standing
• Minimum 1 year of experience in a family practice/urgent care/walk-in setting
• Must HAVE experience working with OSCAR EMR/ Windows/ Microsoft Office
• Demonstrated skill in observation, independent assessment, critical thinking, problem-solving, and interpersonal relationship building.
• Good oral and written communication skills
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in an interdisciplinary team

Skills

Ability to speak Hindi/Punjabi/Urdu is an asset
