Your main responsibilities are:
  1. Responsible for maintenance and development of client accounts
  2. Key liaison between the client, the laboratory, and senior Bureau Veritas management
  3. Ensure Client feedback is passed on to senior Bureau Veritas management team
  4. Respond to all client calls (telephone or email) within one hour of reception time, redirect calls or emails to PMA so as to meet this objective
  5. Develop client relations through the provision of top-notch client services
  6. Provide clients with technical support on their varied sampling projects
  7. Stay current on all Application and interpretation of environmental regulations
  8. Document and get closure to all client complaints, CARS
  9. Stay current with all methods, PARs, and MOCs, via the various reporting tools of the QSI, and CMR databases
  10. Assist the sales team with active participation in development and execution of the regional sales strategies
  11. Development of actual and potential clients through active participation in new account identification, and regular account reviews of all actual clients
  12. Work in conjunction with the client to coordinate all related project requirements
  13. Facilitate communication between clients and other laboratory departments
  14. Assist with the preparation of correspondence and reports for technical analytical data review, marketing information, and other related documentation
  15. Develop and train newly hired assistant project managers
  16. Work with accounting staff to facilitate discussions on client account payment habits; assist with collection of monies owed
  17. Adhere to all Health and Safety Regulations
  18. Adhere to and participate with all QAQC policies of the organization to ensure Quality Standards are maintained
  19. Maintain current employee training file
  20. Assist the sample logistics department with the entry of samples into the laboratory lims system according to established SOP
  21. Provide assistance to the Container preparation department in high season, if required
You are the ideal candidate if:

B. Sc. or its equivalence with at least (3-5) years' experience in the environmental laboratory industry
Must have basic chemistry knowledge for application in a laboratory setting
Mining knowledge and all other related mining experience is an asset
Excellent oral and written communication skills in both French and English
Excellent computer skills
Must be people-oriented with excellent interpersonal communication and organizational skills
Must be organized, detail-oriented, and focused
Must be able to work independently and have superior multitasking skills, ability to work under pressure
Represents the Bureau Veritas values and is at all times professional
Must have a leadership personality and act as a role model to junior project management staff
Should be responsible, independent, dedicated, and motivated with very good team spirit

Work conditions

Applicant should be willing to work extended hours (or flex hours) as deemed necessary in order to achieve targeted budgetary invoice levels, or other administrative tasks.
