We are seeking a Refrigeration Technician (313A)for our food manufacturing plant in North York, ON. Refrigeration system installation as per applicable codes. Understanding of Food Safety and Good Manufacturing Practices. Communicate refrigeration issues and solutions with associates. Understands programmable controls and is computer literate. Trouble shooting Roof Top Air Conditioning heating units and Boilers. Performs all repairs, develop and carry out preventative maintenance inspections, follows preventative maintenance schedule to sustain optimal performance of equipment and minimize downtime and costs in compliance with HACCP rules, JSA's and SOP's and other requirements. Acts a liaison for contractors conducting repairs in the plant. G-2 Gas technician fitter license would be an asset Minimum 5 years' experience in Industrial Freon-based refrigeration systems Good communication skills, both written and spoken English Additional Skilled Trade Licenses would be an asset Assess decision making qualities and work under pressure Responsible for compliance to Health and Safety, Good Manufacturing Practices, Food Safety and Environmental Standards at all times.
