We're looking for an NPD Manufacturing Project Manager for Can-Am products. In this role, you'll influence off-highway chassis designs and define, as part of a team, how they should be manufactured. You'll have the chance to push our manufacturing strategies to the limit.
YOU'LL HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO:

Promote the manufacturing vision to engineering to achieve manufacturing objectives (Safety, Quality, CTU, Capacity, Efficiency).

Be responsible for executing NPD activities.

Establish guidelines for the manufacturing of chassis and other mechanically-welded components for Can-Am vehicles, in collaboration with the team on site.

Ensure the manufacturability of our internally produced components and optimize manufacturing costs throughout development.

Manage the technical, financial, time, or quality impacts of various project options.

Maintain the Fab master plan, the progress report in SAP, and the status of NPD deliverables.

Support the factories during production launch and improvement projects.

Serve as a liaison and ensure effective communication between the plant, engineering, purchasing, and other departments.

Inform management about the risks and actions associated with its projects.
YOU'LL THRIVE IN THIS ROLE IF YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS AND QUALITIES:

A diploma of college studies (DCS) or bachelor's degree in mechanical, industrial, or metallurgical engineering.

At least 5 years of experience in the field.

Knowledge of metal manufacturing and processing methods would be an asset.

Languages spoken and written: English and French to communicate with internal stakeholders located outside Quebec or unilingual English speakers on a daily basis

Knowledge of CAD, specifically CATIA, would be an asset.

Good knowledge of Excel, Word, PowerPoint and SAP.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Strong influencing skills, teamwork, and collaboration.

The ability to travel regularly to the U.S. and Mexico.
