Hays has partnered with a well-known commercial property management organization to hire a Senior Property Administrator to join their team in Calgary.

Job Summary: The Senior Property Administrator will oversee the day-to-day operations of commercial properties, ensuring efficient management and maintenance. This role involves coordinating with tenants, vendors, and internal teams to provide exceptional service and support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Tenant Relations: Serve as the primary point of contact for tenants, addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring satisfaction.
  • Lease Administration: Manage lease agreements, including renewals, amendments, and terminations. Ensure compliance with lease terms and conditions.
  • Maintenance Coordination: Schedule and oversee property maintenance and repairs, working with vendors and contractors to ensure timely completion.
  • Financial Management: Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting. Monitor expenses and ensure cost-effective operations.
  • Compliance: Ensure properties comply with local regulations, safety standards, and company policies.
  • Reporting: Prepare regular reports on property performance, occupancy rates, and maintenance activities.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with property managers, leasing agents, and other team members to achieve property goals.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Real Estate, or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in property management, preferably in commercial real estate.
  • Strong knowledge of lease agreements, property maintenance, and financial management.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
