Under the supervision of the Distribution Center Director, the administrative agent manages administrative tasks and follows up on activities related to shipments in the transportation sector.
Main Responsibilities
- Contribute to creating a positive customer experience by ensuring smooth shipping and receiving processes.
- Ensure data entry and updates in internal management systems.
- Prepare, verify, and file documents for receiving, shipping, transportation, and inventory, including shipping slips, invoices, and packing lists.
- Generate shipping labels through carrier platforms.
- Keep records up to date regarding employee training, safety, attendance, and compliance.
- Respond to information requests from employees regarding proof of delivery, shipment tracking, or other administrative inquiries.
- Follow up and draft claims files related to shipping or transportation issues.
- Coordinate internal communication between floor teams and administration to ensure optimal management.
- Provide support to the department for managing vacation replacements.
- Participate in schedule planning, office supplies management, and other administrative tasks.
- Perform any other related tasks as requested by management.

- Proficiency in SAP
- Good knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Knowledge of Smartsheet is an asset
