Overview

Our client, a respected national nonprofit organization, is seeking a Bilingual Coordinator to provide exceptional service to supporters and help advance their mission through fundraising efforts. This hybrid position is based near Yonge and Eglinton and offers the opportunity to be a vital part of donor engagement and retention efforts.

In this front-line role, you will interact directly with donors, responding to inquiries, processing contributions, and providing essential administrative and database support to the fundraising team. You'll help ensure donors feel valued, informed, and confident in their ongoing relationship with the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

- Serve as a primary point of contact for donor communications via phone and email in both official languages

- Address donor inquiries, provide information about giving options, and resolve issues with professionalism and care

- Process donations and generate accurate tax receipts in a timely manner

- Maintain and update donor records in the organization's database

- Assist with outbound calls to thank donors or follow up on recent contributions

- Support fundraising campaigns through administrative tasks such as preparing donor correspondence and acknowledgments

- Collaborate with internal departments to ensure smooth and accurate handling of donation data and donor requests

- Ensure all interactions align with the organization's values and donor stewardship standards

Requirements:

- Fluency in French and English (spoken and written)

- Previous experience in customer service, donor relations, or fundraising administration is preferred

- Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail and data accuracy

- Comfortable handling confidential information with discretion

- Proficient with MS Office and donor databases or CRM platforms (experience with Raiser's Edge or similar systems is an asset)

- Positive, donor-focused attitude and excellent communication skills

Work Arrangement:

This is a hybrid position requiring 3 days onsite per week at the Yonge and Eglinton office and 2 days working remotely. Candidates must be able to reliably commute to the office on in-office days.
