Work Arrangement: Hybrid: You'll work both remote and onsite, where time onsite is based on your job accountabilities and performance objectives.

ATB is on a powerful journey to change management maturity. As a Change Management Specialist within the Organizational Development team, you will be part of a high energy group empowered to elevate our collective and individual capabilities across the organization. This role will be responsible for supporting People, Culture, Brand & Communications (PCBC) as they introduce changes into the organization, and support our change maturity, in partnership with other change team members, across ATB. You will work closely with project managers and program owners to assess, plan and execute change management plans and tactics to drive team member adoption of changes and ensure business results are achieved. You will also work closely with the Change & Performance team to build and deliver strategies for team members to utilize when adopting new changes. The Change Management Specialist will be required to work closely with other change practitioners across the organization to share best practices and build strong working relationships.

Responsibilities:

  • Create detailed plans for how to roll out major changes in operating model to a group of people, which includes identifying major areas of impact, creating communications, and managing / monitoring key risks
  • Execute change management tactics, including ensuring measurement towards progress is tracked and make any adjustments to your approach as necessary
  • Acts as the point of contact in case any issues arise during the roll out period
  • Provide advisory or coaching support on smaller projects that don't need a full change management team
  • Establish and sustain strong, positive relationships with key partners (such as project managers, communications and learning partners) and project stakeholders, maintaining open lines of communication and addressing concerns as they arise
  • Supporting ATB's change maturity progression by acting as an advocate for change practices within the team and across the organization
  • Support PMOs across PCBC in ensuring the ATB Change Method tools and templates are accessible and up to date for initiatives to leverage, includes providing feedback to inform continuous improvement of the tools and templates
  • Supporting change team in coordinating and managing stakeholder sessions on change across the organization (from executive to front line team member level as required)
  • Supporting change community of practice efforts as required

Requirements

Accreditations:

  • Bachelor's degree in management, communications, learning, organizational behaviour or related field
  • At least one change certification in an industry accepted change methodology or standard (e.g. CCMP, IDEO U, Prosci) (desired but not required)

  • Change management - Identifying change-related points of impact for projects and associated action plans
  • Customer success and community engagement - opening conversations to end users to optimize experience
  • Strategic planning - Establishing direction of a vision and roadmap for a given project, product or program
  • Project management skills including lean management principles, process governance, project delivery, planning, steering, strategic planning and risk management
  • Business fundamentals including metrics reporting, business process management, customer centricity, business analysis and business problem solving
  • Design thinking and human centered design
